• allows a fine communication
• very light weight, therefore very comfortable to wear for your horse
• the ring slides and prevents the halter from slipping on the horse's head when the reins are applied
• reins can be hooked on the sliding ring
• cannot be combined with riding rings on the noseband, as it is too loose and would slip strongly when acted on sideways

In combination with the knotted halter, a groundwork rope incl. rigging rattle is highly recommended.
